Global Peace New Year Picnic Celebration 2026: A Day of Joy, Unity & Learning Across Three Branches
As it has been a tradition over the years, Global Peace proudly continued its culture of togetherness and celebration by organizing a grand New Year Picnic 2026. This special event was not only a celebration to welcome the new year but also a heartfelt farewell to the previous one—filled with memories, laughter, and shared experiences.
The picnic brought together students and staff from all three branches of Global Peace:
- Itahari
- Urlabari
- Birtamod
Students from Japanese language classes, Korean language classes, and Computer training programs gathered in one place, creating a vibrant, multicultural learning community. In total, 150+ students participated in this joyful celebration, making it one of the most memorable events organized by Global Peace so far.

A Perfect Start to the New Year
The picnic day began early in the morning with excitement visible on every student’s face. After a refreshing journey and a delicious morning breakfast, the energy level was already high. Music, laughter, and friendly conversations filled the atmosphere as students from different branches connected with each other beyond classrooms.
To make the day even more engaging, Global Peace organized multiple games, activities, and contests, ensuring that every participant felt involved, refreshed, and entertained.

Game 1: Musical Chair – Fun Right After Breakfast
The first official game of the day was Musical Chair, organized right after the morning breakfast.
This game instantly set the mood for the picnic:
- Energetic music
- Excited participants
- Loud cheers from the audience
Students competed with full enthusiasm, and with each round, the excitement grew stronger. The fun, tension, and laughter made Musical Chair one of the most entertaining moments of the day.
Awards:
- Winner received a Trophy
- Certificate of Achievement
After an intense final round, we proudly found our winner, marking a perfect start to the day’s activities.

Game 2: In & Out – Simple, Long & Intense
Next came the In & Out Game, a game that looks simple but demands strong focus and quick decision-making.

How it works:
- When the host says “In”, participants must jump inside the circle
- When the host says “Out”, they must move outside the circle
- A single miscalculation leads to elimination
This game continued for a long time, testing patience, attention, and stamina. As rounds passed, the circle got smaller, and competition became tougher.
🏆 Awards:
- Winner received a Trophy
- Certificate of Achievement
Finally, after many eliminations and intense moments, the deserving winner was announced.

Game 3: Picnic Photo Contest
One of the most unique activities of this picnic was the Picnic Photo Contest, which was planned 15 days before the picnic.
Global Peace officially announced and structured this contest to encourage creativity and social engagement.
Contest Rules:
- Students had to post picnic-related photos
- Winner was selected based on maximum interaction (likes, shares, engagement)
This contest created excitement even before the picnic day arrived and encouraged students to express creativity beyond classrooms.
Awards:
- Certificate
- Cash Prize: NPR 5,000
The winner was announced during the picnic, making the moment even more special.

Game 4: Head & Shoulder – Speed, Focus & Drama
The Head & Shoulder Game brought both fun and drama to the picnic.

Game Rules:
- When the host says “Head” → touch your head
- When the host says “Shoulder” → touch your shoulder
- When the host says “Catch” → catch the bottle placed in front
The game was played in pairs of two, and the person who caught the bottle first moved to the next round.
As rounds progressed, the tension increased. Finally, 2 boys and 1 lady reached the dramatic final round.
Final Result:
- The lady won the final round, earning loud applause and cheers
Awards:
- Trophy
- Certificate
This game became one of the most memorable highlights of the picnic.

More Than Just Games: Dance, Music & Bonding
Along with organized games, students also enjoyed:
- Group dancing
- Music sessions
- Casual fun moments

- Friendly bonding across branches
The picnic allowed students to relax, refresh, and connect with fellow learners and instructors in a joyful environment.
